1 Million Riders!

For anyone who doubted the effectiveness of RTA's free ride programs for college students, check out this piece in the PE. RTA just celebrated 1 million riders from their RCC U-Pass program. Note- that's JUST the RCC program, though admittedly it has been the most successful of the college pass programs. The agency sees 80,000 boardings a month from community college students. This is a phenomenal program that provides access to transportation and education for thousands. Bravo, RTA.
